First try at water colors on prints.

I recently decided that I was going to test my luck at coloring some of my prints. And yes i realize that it is odd to take a photo in black and white and THEN color it. But hey man its art, it like doesnt have to make sense and all.
it worked okay, i have a long ways to go to really be able to get the results i want. I have also realized that my scanner is not all its cut out ot be either. The first time i scanned i forgot to make it a color scan. turned out pretty cool.

once i made it a color scan, it got weird. I forgot i have a budget as hell scanner that did not seem to fancy pink in the slightest. For some reason the scanner lightened up all the pinks so a pink red blended mix looks all fucked up.

strangely enough both the flowers were painted in this print. my scanner just didnt feel like acknowledging that (pink again).
