Burn one down

there is a custome in China to burn money for the people in your family that have died. Apparently the after life is pretty boring if you aint got the loot. So people buy fake money and burn that shit down to mourn thiet loved ones. Seems kind of weird to me, but hell when in ROme right? So about a week ago, i have no idea why, everyone in my neighborhood took part in some good old money burning. Later that night I found some non burnt Benjermins on the ground and took them home. I hope it is not a bad omen to steal a dead persons fake money.
I then burnt the hell out of it (DUHHH). man it feels like i am burning threw money these days.
